I have used videoconference facilities for business meetings for many years, but I was sceptical about how it would work for a training course. The Zoom platform worked brilliantly, especially the different meeting room facility. I learned a huge amount from your personal experiences of mediation and enjoyed the structured approach to conducting a mediation process. The interaction with the other delegates was really good and we were able to build a good rapport with each other during the programme. I would go as far as to say that the learning experience was enhanced by being able to attend the training from the comfort of my home and not having to battle with the commute to a venue each day. I felt fresh at the start of every day and in a better place to absorb the content and engage in the exercises.
The skills I have developed on the training will be incredibly useful in my business consultancy and executive coaching work, as well as equipping me to facilitate mediations. They will also be a huge asset as I work towards becoming a qualified solicitor.
